Can Job Stress Give You Heart Disease?

Hi, I'm Dr. Miller. Are you suffering from job burnouts, do whatever you can to get that work stress under control. Burnout is bad for your heart. Work stress takes a real toll on your physical health, it's associated with obesity, insomnia and anxiety, and a recent study links it to higher rates of cardiac vascullar disease.

Workers in the top 20% of the so-called burnout scale have a 79% higher risk of a heart disease in a less stress calling. That may make job burn out in an even in stronger predictive heart disease risk, smoking, cholesterol and lack of exercise, so how can you counteract work stress? Changing your work situation is a smart solution but it's not always easy, in the mean time take extra care with your help keep up healthy habits like eating right, exercising, get seven to eight hours of sleep each night.
