During week 6 of pregnancy, your baby is going through exciting changes. By this point, your baby's heart is beating and is circulating blood through its tiny body. Week 6 also marks the beginning of the development of your baby's facial features. The embryo's head is very large, and its nose, mouth, ears, and passages that connect those features are starting to develop. Other organs - such as the intestines and brain -are also forming, and your baby now has buds that will eventually become limbs.
