There are a lot of mixed feelings associated with the 37th week of pregnancy. Many women have difficulty sleeping due to discomfort. However, when they do sleep, they often have more intense dreams reflecting both their anxiety and excitement about the birth of their child. It is not uncommon to have  frequent heartburn or digestive problems during the last few weeks of pregnancy, as your stomach is constantly compressed by your expanded uterus. Heartburn can be prevented by avoiding greasy foods, eating smaller portions more frequently, and not eating for at least an hour before bed. In general, week 37 is a great time to rest and prepare for your baby.
