By week 13, you're nearing the end of the first trimester, but that doesn't mean that your actions no longer affect your baby. It's important to stick with your diet and exercise plan that you've been following so far in your pregnancy. This may actually be easier now since you're probably not having symptoms of morning sickness and may have a renewed sense of energy. You should also keep avoiding alcohol and tobacco, and limit your caffeine intake or avoid it altogether. Doctors agree that a little caffeine is probably ok, but anything more than a couple cups of coffee may cause problems in your baby. Also, around week 13 your sex drive has probably returned. Know that in most cases, having sex won't harm your baby at all!
