Will my insurance cover Lyrica?

Your insurance may or may not cover Lyrica. Doctors prescribe Lyrica to treat pain and other symptoms caused by several different conditions, including fibromyalgia. Lyrica is thought to work by blocking the transmission of pain signals in the body. Some insurance companies do not cover the cost of Lyrica for patients who have fibromyalgia. If your doctor wants you to take Lyrica, check with your insurance company to see if the drug is covered.
