What's the best treatment for rosacea?

There are excellent treatments to help control rosacea. While there is no cure, avoiding triggers is important, along with using the proper skin care products and prescription medications -- sulfa-based products, topical metronidazole, topical ivermectin and topical azeleic acid -- as needed. The redness of rosacea can be treated with laser therapy. In addition, a new, topical medication called Mirvaso (brimonidine) -- which is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) -- can temporarily treat the redness as well.
