answer
After a detox diet, you want to ease your body back into a healthier diet. Start by eating foods easily digested, such as lightly cooked vegetables. Then move to fruit and whole grains. Pay attention to portion control and frequency of eating occasions. Eat vegetable protein before animal protein, and avoid known gastric irritants. Continue to consume water and liquids for hydration. Keep a food mood journal and notice how a reintroduction of certain foods makes you feel. If you had given something up, assess why you feel you need to return to it. For example, if you were used to drinking a glass of wine nightly or coffee at your break, what has it been like to avoid that?
