Meditation to help control anger
Take a moment to control your anger with this meditation.

DONNA D'CRUZ: This is Donna D'Cruz
and this is anger management. Anger, we have all felt it at different times.
It's that incredible strong feeling of being annoyed,
of being hurt. It is a basic human instincts.
Anger can feel like a loss control. So for a few moments, let's just stay with our breath
and observe how we feel by even saying this word, anger.
What makes me angry? Anger is normal.
It is a powerful, natural emotion.
It is part of our humanity. Many of us worry about how angry we sometimes feel.
And many of us are concerned by how anger can actually
affect the mind, the body, and all parts of ourselves.
How do you want to manage? How do you want to control your behavioral responses?
What arises in you when you feel angry?
Notice how you feel and tell yourself I am beyond judgment.
There is no right. There is no wrong. So let's travel together beyond right
doing, beyond wrong doing. With each in breath, we receive.
With each exhale, we let go.
As we begin to get calm, allow your emotions to subside.
Allow yourself to forgive, starting with yourself.
Anger, when allowed to run freely, takes up space.
When we release the anger, we make space for beauty,
for love, for compassion, for grace, joy, laughter.
We have a lightness of being all around us.
Just tune into that lovely frequency of nature and your nature.
When you start to understand that anger is about how we connect with control,
then can choose to let go.
Let's try this together. Take a slow inhale.
I choose to let go, and exhale. Inhale.
Exhale one more time. I choose to forgive.
I choose to let go. I choose to forgive.
I accept. I release.
Do the thing that you'd love. Listen to music, dance, move your body, shake it off.
Make a playlist of your favorite songs perhaps and just shake it off.
Move through it, dance. I choose to let go.
I accept. I release.
