Chakras are spiritual energy centers found inside the inner body
lining up with the spine. You start with the lowest chakra,
the red, (speaking in foreign language), two-spaced with the perineum,
the pubic bone. Second chakra is (speaking in foreign language).
This is orange and is located just below the navel of the body.
Third chakra is (speaking in foreign language). The color here is yellow.
This is located where you feel the diaphragm just below the lowest ribs of your body.
The heart chakra is green. It's centered, as it says, in the heart.
Blue chakra is just at the base of the throat, (speaking in foreign language).
And the next chakra is just between the eyebrows called the Anya chakra, sometimes called Ajna.
This is a window of inner vision. The color here is the deepest purple. Crown of the head
is (speaking in foreign language), thousand petal lotus. The color here is usually white because the white is split
as the spectrum is into seven rays or colors.
We're going to focus on a visualization. We'll take you through the garden of chakras,
each color resonated with a particular focus.
When you're ready, we're going to lie down
and we're going to go on a journey in our minds
through a garden full of beauty, helping not just the mind, but the body and the emotions.
Feel some comfort, some joy, and peace. (narrator inhaling)
Please lie down and find a comfortable position. Ensure your body feels that it's really able to make contact
with the floor, the bed, anywhere where the body can lie comfortably.
Conscious at the back of the heels, back to the hands, base of the spine,
the back of the head making contact with whatever surface you're lying on. (relaxing music)
let your feet come apart, rolling open from the hips
and your arms rested by your side. Turn the palms towards the sky.
And if you can, please close your eyes. Let's bring our mind's eye to our breath,
watching it come in through the nose, past the chest, down into the belly.
As you breathe out, allow the breath to move back and out through the nose.
Spend a little bit of time focusing the mind, allowing all other stimulation, thoughts,
just drift away. Focus on your breath. (relaxing music)
We're going to go to a beautiful garden today, and with our mind, we're going to enjoy the colors,
the sounds, and the smells that you might experience.
And before we go there, notice the sounds in this room. You may be outside.
(birds chirping) Notice the sounds that you can hear. And if they seem far away, try to focus a little harder
at being able to notice those sounds. There may be birds, insects,
or a car or plane. Take your time to listen.
Your breathing has changed and it's getting much quieter.
Remember to take some slow breaths, feeling your abdomen rise like a balloon
filling with your breath. Breathe out even slower.
Watch the breath move out through the nose, in through the nose.
Focus on the breath. In your mind, I want you to walk out into the grass,
feeling it under your feet. Using your mind's eye, look down at your feet
and notice that you don't have any shoes on. Your toes are feeling nice as they move in the grass.
The grass feels cool and there is still early morning dew on it.
Start to walk slowly, still looking at your feet,
and notice there is a path in front of you. Look at the path as you place your first foot on it.
What does it feel like? Is it warm? Is it cool?
Is the path made of stones or wood? Take your time.
As you walk along the path, you start to look ahead of you and see that there was a garden.
Seems to be a secret place, as it has a small wall around it.
What is the wall like? It's important to notice.
Is it tall or low? Flat stones or round ones?
What color are they? Are they gray or brown? (happy music)
This is your wall, one you made. And it's very special, so look at it carefully and notice everything about it,
like the moss growing on it or small plants growing in it.
As you walk closer to the wall, you notice a door or a gate. Lift your hand out and take a look at your hand.
See it lift up and push against the wood. Slowly push the door open
and take a look at your beautiful garden. The grass underneath your feet is very soft and cool
and the grass tickles your toes. You feel very happy in this garden.
I would like you to turn to your right and walk towards a large group of red roses.
They are in full bloom and smell heavenly. Get close to them
and get your nose as close as you can. Now take a deep, slow breath through your nose
and let the perfume fill your head and your heart with red roses.
And imagine these roses falling into your lower tummy, as you breathe out, and feel really safe.
After spending some time there, turn to see the next small planted area
where there are lots of orange daisies. They are dancing happily in the breeze of the morning
under the warm sunshine. Get close to them and smell them.
They smell like vanilla and orange cream. Take a big breath through your nose
and let that orange vanilla smell move down into your navel and feel really happy.
As you breathe out, continue to feel at peace. (peaceful music) (birds chirping)
Let's walk now to the next bit of flowers. And there we have tall yellow lilies.
Their heads are standing tall so that they can reach the sun.
They look like the rays of the sun as they stand lifting their faces.
Get close to them and let their golden faces shine on your face like a million smiles.
Breathe this yellow into the part above your navel and let the yellow shine.
You feel really peaceful. Keep your breath even and calm.
Continue to feel at peace. Now let's walk over to your little forest of green trees.
These have silver trunks, emerald green leaves that jingle like coins on the tree.
Listen to their sound. It's a tingling jingling sound and the green leaves are moving happily together.
Look up into the branches of the jeweled green leaves and the silver tree trunk.
Let the green rest in your heart and say to yourself, I love me.
It feels so calm and loving here. Hold that thought.
Calm and loving. You have just noticed there are lots of small blue flowers
that have big petals and they seem to leave a white diamond in the middle.
These cornflower daisies are shy flowers, and they're very kind.
You have to come down to your knees here to hear them talking to you.
Bring your ear very close to them and listen. Can't you hear them say we love you,
we love you, we love you? Let that blue color rest in your throat.
You're feeling all soft and sweet inside.
You're standing up now to walk to those purple flowers on that bush.
They're very big flowers. When you look inside, you see they have a yellow center that looks like an eye.
Look at the eye and feel as though you are falling into the purple petals. And the yellow eye is very kind and clear.
Watch your breathing. As you are in those purple flowers, let the purple rest on your forehead.
You're feeling very tall and very brave. (relaxing music) (birds chirping)
you just noticed a bright white light in the shape of the ball coming up into the sky.
You can see it coming up over your wall. This is the pale morning sun rising to wake us up.
Let the white light rest at the top of your head. You are feeling at peace with the world.
I want you to take a deep breath. (narrator inhaling) just begin to bring the awareness back to your body
by gently moving your toes and your fingers.
Roll your head gently from side to side.
Give yourselves a stretch on the floor.
You're ready. Just feel like you're waking up (inhaling), feeling that energy rise up through the body,
feeling calm and centered and yet if you've had a long, deep rest.
You can bring up your knees if you like. Walking from side to side, anything that makes you feel
like you're beginning to wake up the body. Start to open your eyes very slowly.
Put a big smile on your face. Just remember all those flowers,
that secret garden is your special place. (relaxing music) (birds chirping)
