Is there a cure for stage IV colon cancer?

Stage IV colon cancer can be cured through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. In this last stage of colon cancer, however, the cancer is less likely to be cured than in earlier stages. It is also possible, however, for cancer to return even after a person has been cancer-free for a period of time.
