Try this move to strengthen your quads
Transcript
[UPBEAT MUSIC]
The big muscles in your thighs, your quadriceps or quads for short, help your knees function properly.
Your quads also play a big role in all of your leg movements. So keeping them strong and flexible is important.
Step-Ups are one move you can do to help keep your quads strong.
To start, stand in front of a step or stable platform with your feet about hip width apart.
If you have hand weights, hold them with your palms facing inward. Slowly step up with your right foot, keeping your knee over your toes.
Next, bring up your left foot, raising your knee as high as you can and then bringing it back down until your left foot is
resting alongside your right foot on the step or platform. Then step back down, leading with your right foot.
Do the same move on the opposite side. Repeat 10 to 15 times.
