answer
The average ejaculate volume is between 2 and 10ml (1/3 tsp - 2 tsp). Many factors affect total volume such as:
  • Age: A 50 year old man may have a 20% decrease in volume compared to a 30 year old.
  • Time elapse since previous ejaculation: Peak ejaculate volume is reached in 24-48 hours. Larger volumes are evident with greater durations of abstinence.
  • Hydration status: Total ejaculate volume is 98% water. Ejaculate volume will be reduced and thicker if dehydrated (not enough water circulating in the body). Avoid dehydrating substances (e.g., alcohol, coffee).

Presently, there is no medically proven method to increase ejaculate volume.
