answer

Children who sometimes wet the bed may do so more often if they are sick with a cold, tonsillitis, or other illness that makes it hard to breathe well while sleeping. Even children who do not wet the bed may do so if they are sick with something that disrupts their sleep pattern. Diabetes, which increases urine output, can affect bed-wetting. Bladder infections can cause discomfort and the urgent need to urinate, which may worsen bed-wetting in a child who had the problem or cause it in a child who is dry at night.
