What Does the Broad-Spectrum Sun Block Label Mean?

Read Transcript

Broad-spectrum really means UVA, and UVB sun protection. Sun block means that it has certain ingredients in it that just rest right on top of your skin like little rocks, and the UV light comes down and its rica shades offer those of sun blocker ingredients. It doesn't go through that chemical reaction that I mentioned that sun screens goes through, therefore it doesn't get used up at all.

Sun blocks stick on your skin and they either wipe off or sweat off and that's why you need to reapply them. Broad spectrum is giving you UVA and UVB protection which is great. Sun block others ingredients that rest on top of your skin, and physically block any UV light from hitting your DNA.
