We also see, on the other end though, that we-- that LGBT older people also experience a certain form of resilience. That-- something about having survived decades
of discrimination, and having to live independently, and-- and sort of carve your own life has also created a certain type of resilience.

We also see, on the other end of that, we-- the LGBT older people also experience a certain form of resilience. That-- something about having survived decades
of discrimination, and having to live independently, and-- and sort of carve your own life has also created a certain type of resilience.
The same research that shows these mental health concerns also shows that many also engage in behaviors that promote good health.
That many engage in-- in meditation, and exercise, and behaviors that promote a sound body and a sound mind.
So I think the combination of both the hardship that they've experienced, but also the resilience they've incurred, I think makes for a very--
for a very important, but very engaged demographic. [MUSIC PLAYING] [HEARTBEAT]
