How does an egg travel to the uterus?

The ovaries produce the egg and release it to the uterine tubes. The uterine tubes then carry the egg to the uterus, where the egg joins the uterus wall and develops. (This answer provided for NATA by the University of Montana Athletic Training Education Program.)
