Calf size is largely dependent on genetics so it’s pretty hard to make them larger or smaller. Losing weight and not performing movements that work the calves might help decrease the size slightly.

      Calf size is one of the hardest areas to decrease size because we use it all the time.  Women who wear high heels are especially prone to larger calves because the muscle has to work harder than in flat heeled shoes.  Genetics can also be a factor in calf size.  However, the key to decreasing the size of any area is high repetitions with light weight.    Keep in mind that you cannot spot reduce, but you can burn overall body fat and tone the areas you want to reduce.  Circuit training is a great way to reduce body fat, and tone muscle.
