Breathing can help you increase your total-body quickness. How you breathe when intending quick and assertive movement can make all the difference. Combine these two breathing styles together to form the ultimate accelerant to lightening quick movement:

  1. Bring air from the back of your throat like you are fogging up a mirror, and
  2. Tighten your abs to force air out quickly like blowing out a candle. Now, combine these two breathing styles into one. This may take some practice, but notice how quickly air is forced out and how rigid your abdominals are upon executing this maneuver.
