Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Pecans Recipe

Filled with heart-healthy antioxidants and healthy fats, this salad is as nutritionally powerful as it is delicious.

This simple salad is packed with antioxidants from fresh straweberries and spinach. It also has a dose of healthy fats provided by pecans and olive oil.

Ingredients

½ cup raw sliced strawberries
½ tbsp balsamic vinegar
¾ cup baby spinach
⅛ cup chopped pecans
1 tbsp olive oil
1 dash salt (to taste)
1 drop stevia, vanilla flavor

Preparation (Serves 1)

In a small bowl mix balsamic vinegar and Stevia. Slowly whisk in olive oil. Season with salt. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Spread spinach on plate, top with strawberries and pecans. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and serve.
