What are some examples of stretching exercises?

Here are some examples of stretching exercise:

Low-back stretch: Gradually lower your abdomen to your lap, and hug your knees. Hold for about 20 seconds.

Calf stretch: Stand facing the wall, using both hands for support. Step one leg behind you, keeping the leg straight and the toe and heel on the ground. Slowly lean in toward the wall, bending the front knee until you feel a comfortable stretch in the calf of your back (straight) leg. Hold for 20 seconds, then repeat on the other side.

Quadriceps (front thigh) stretch: With your knee pointing toward the ground, bend one leg behind you. Reach down with the same-side hand and grasp your ankle. Keep your knee pointing down as you gently pull your heel toward your buttocks. Hold for 15 to 20 seconds, then repeat on the other side.
