What causes my eyes to water?

Several things can make your eyes water. Watery eyes can be a sign of dehydration: Because your body isn't hydrated, your eyes can feel scratchy and uncomfortable, causing your ducts to respond with tears. Allergies, foods, chemical/environmental exposures or diseases can also be the cause.
