The accommodations that the teachers may use will depend on the visual acuity of your child for both near and far images. Typically with nystagmus, vision is better up-close. Therefore, classroom placement should be close to board work. Some children will benefit from magnification or enlargement of desk work. Other accommodations and low-vision devices are selected based upon individual needs.
