answer

Studies have shown that most people taking Namenda will start to see symptoms improve within a few months of taking Namenda. In patients with mild to moderate dementia, onset of improvement can start in as early as 14 days.  In some people Namenda will not necessarily improve symptoms - rather it may slow the progression of symptoms.

The benefits of taking Namenda may be best seen over the course of a year and may vary. Some may find that their memory is better, others may experience less daily confusion, and you may notice you are able to answer questions and take tests easier. Even if you feel that you are not improving on Namenda, talk to your doctor before discontinuing the use of Namenda.
