Peanut butterflies

This kid-friendly “peanut butterflies” recipe from the Medical City Children’s Hospital is a great after-school snack.

Makes 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, medium
  • 2 celery sticks, 5-6 inches long
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 24 raisins

Preparation

  1. Core and slice apple into 8 wedges
  2. Cut celery sticks in half
  3. Spread peanut butter onto each celery stick
  4. Place celery sticks on plate
  5. Place an apple wedge on either side of celery sticks for the wings
  6. Place 3 raisins on each wing
  7. Share with a friend
