If you miss a dose of aspirin low-dose taken daily to prevent heart attack or stroke, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose. If you are taking aspirin low-dose to relieve pain, take the medication as-needed, and do not exceed the recommended allotment for daily use.
