When swapping out mayonnaise in recipes, you can get really creative. When it comes to sandwich spreads, you can use heart healthy hummus made from ground chickpeas and olive oil or even guacamole which we know is made from heart healthy avocado. These make great spreads because people tend to overrate them when you're using them as a dip paired with chips.

When you're trying to substitute mayonnaise in a dip, I highly suggest using non-fat Greek yoghurt. It has the thick creamy consistency of mayonnaise, all the protein you could possibly want to fill you up, and it doesn't have any of that saturated fat that's not good for your cholesterol.
