You should check your waist size at least once a year but more often if you notice any changes like your jeans are not fitting very well or if you have had some obvious changes in your life pregnancy for example or you think it lost weight because you are depressed, anything that changes dramatically you should always check your waist size and remember you need to measure accurately so we are talking about right above the hip bone at the level of the belly button it should fit the tape measure but not too tight and that will give you actual measurements hope you predict your risk of being like obesity, heart diseases and diabetes.
