So constipation is often treated first by changing your diet, making sure you have more than enough fiber in your diet, and drinking a lot of water. Both of those can really help get things moving. Regular exercise also has been shown to aid in constipation. If that doesn't work, taking an actual fiber supplement is the next step to help you get moving.
