Why Are Whole Grains Healthier Than Processed Grains?

Whole grains are always healthier than refined or processed products, because the whole grain will inlcude all of the nutrients originally found in that grain. When it is stripped down and refined, it loses many nutrients and then it may be added back as in enrich or fortified some nutrients may be put back in that was never there originally, but it's never going to include all of those micro nutrients that originally with in that plant form, and that includes not just micro nutrients in terms vitamins and minerals but also elements that are called phytonutrients, meaning phyto from the sun and nutrients are compounds that are found in plant based foods, that include nuts and seeds and fruits and vegetables and all different sorts of whole grains and they're very powerful compounds that help our body stay healthy in lots of different ways.
