Some women have a naturally low sex drive, but if low libido bothers you and interferes with your relationship, you should discuss it with your doctor, says Elizabeth Poynor, MD, PhD, a gynecologist-oncologist in New York City.
You shouldn't ignore it if your bothered by it. There are some women who naturally have low sex drives who are not bothered by it. It does not interfere with their relationships, but if a woman is bothered by it, it may inhibit her relationship, it may inhibit her ability to enjoy a full life, and if she's bothered by it, she should pay attention to it, and she should discuss it with her healthcare provider.
