Well, it depends on the meaning of quantified self. If you go to the fanatics which want to measure everything every minute, I think that is a fact or it's going to be a very small percentage of people using it. If you go to some passive, A-Tech collecting sensors, whereby we are able to collect information about how many calories you are eating, how calories are you earning and are you eating the right food, is your cholesterol level at the right level.
Yes there is a lot we can do with data mining and analytics to tell people stop eating or start moving. A lot of quantified self is good information but like everthing else if you take it to the extreme I think it's going to be small percent of people actually getting that and doing that.
