What Is the Next Step in Genomic Sequencing?

Speed and cost effectiveness are interesting, the real Q is what you do with the information? That's, how do you turn it into something that is actionable. And that's where the real value is, whether it costs a $1, 000 or $10, 000 of sequence searching is important, but what is more important is what you do with the information.

And that's where we're spending the bulk of our time right now is, we are continuing to develop sequencing capabilities clearly and the cost is coming down. As we get more as technology gets more sophisticated as Moore's law continues to kick in, the ability to do more, for less and with less is certainly there.

But I think we need to focus more on what you do with that information and how can it impact the health, well-being or treatment of a particular patient, in a particular condition.
