I'm very good with wearing sunscreen. And I try to get all of my patients to form very good sunscreen habits early in life.

I have two populations of patients, those who believe in sunscreen and those who don't. And really, the truth is sunscreen really matters.
My tip for you-- wear sunscreen every day. Wearing sunscreen is going to prevent those brown spots that
start to occur. It's going to prevent that red neck that a lot of people start to get early in their 30s and 40s.
Sunscreen even prevents wrinkles.
In the winter, you can use an SP 15 to 30. In the summertime, you want to use an SP 30 to 50.
Sunscreens have to stay on the label "UVA and UVB protective." And if it's water-resistant, it'll
tell you how much time it lasts in the water. So 40 to 80 minutes is the maximum. I'm very good with wearing sunscreen.
