What should I know when considering breast reduction surgery? Breast reduction surgery is a very well tolerated procedure
with high satisfaction with patients, because literally and figuratively a weight is being lifted off of that patient's shoulders.
Breast reduction surgery is surgery in general. It does require anesthesia and does have the risks of surgery.
However, in general, if a patient is non-smoker and is healthy and is well
prepared from the nutrition and the medical standpoint, it's an excellent procedure that's minimal recovery
time for patients. Most patients find that they need three to four days off of work and are back to work and routine activities
within about one week. In general, most patients are back to full activity
without limitations within about four weeks. [MUSIC PLAYING]
