I couldn't find people with my skin condition, and that was hard.

If you're one of those people like me who truly believe, like, trauma and stress are links to psoriasis,
then you're also understanding that as a person of color, I go through different stress and disparities having come also from a different culture
and a different background. Support systems, I feel like, for me were a lot different. Education is extremely important.
Speak up if you don't understand. And I feel like a lot of people don't understand what they're using on them. They're just, like, signing up for something,
not fully understanding. Psoriasis is a blessing and a curse for me. It's helped me find my purpose in openly talking
about my psoriasis and hoping someone can learn. I've come to understand psoriasis
has brought me to be the person that I wish I had when I had it.
As I had stated earlier, like, I couldn't find someone that was like me, and I know there's got to be other people that look
like me with a skin condition. [AUDIO LOGO]
