Unfortunately, psoriasis is a lifelong, chronic skin
condition. There are certainly lifestyle changes that you can do in order to minimize flare up and help with the treatment of psoriasis.
My biggest tip to patients is de-stress. We know that stress has a huge correlation with making skin diseases worse, particularly psoriasis.
So whatever that may be for you to de-stress, do it. Find a job that you love. Hang out with your family and friends.
Exercise, meditate, do yoga. Whatever that may be, de-stressing can have a huge impact on your psoriasis.
Adopting a healthy lifestyle with a good happy, healthy heart diet can also be really helpful. So whether that's increasing the number of fish
that you're having a day, decreasing the amount of red meat that you're taking in, eating lots of colorful, beautiful salads,
and fresh fruits and vegetables-- all these things can actually help control your psoriasis and also
psoriasis
