What is a relay walk team?

Relay walk teams are teams that support a cause.  Some of these causes may include walking for breast cancer, lung cancer, and the list will go on and on.  These are great events to take part in as you are helping to raise money for a foundation so they can further their research to find a cause for the event in which you are supporting.  These events are often over night events so it will push you and your teammate to stick together and work for the cause.

A walk team is made up of 7 to 15 people who have a commitment to raise money throughout the year for programs and research for cancer. There is a culminating event where the teams of people gather at schools, parks or a fairground and they take turns walking laps throughout the night. Each team tries to have someone from their team walking on the track at all times during the event. The more people on your team the more you rest.
