How much of Vitamin A will help me clear up my acne?

Although vitamin A is important for the immune system to prevent or fight off infections by making white blood cells that destroy harmful bacteria and viruses, there isn''t much scientific data to support that vitamin A effectively helps with treating acne. The recommended daily allowance (RDA) for vitamin A is 3,000 international units (IU) for adult males and 2,310 international units (IU) for non-pregnant adult females. In general, healthy adults (males or females) should not consume more than 10,000 international units (IU) of Vitamin A per day.
