Does beta-carotene interact with other medications?

Beta-carotene could have some negative drug interactions, so you should take it only as directed by your doctor. Tell your doctor about any other supplements or medications you take. Don't take beta-carotene if you are using mineral oils, cholestyramine or orlistat, because a negative interaction could occur.
