What is a severe tooth fracture?

If a tooth sustains a severe break, or fracture, this could mean that you might lose the tooth. Severe fractures can occur if a big part of the tooth crown or root is broken. This can cause severe pain, looseness, and even bleeding. Do your best to manage the bleeding and see a dentist or go to the emergency room immediately.
