When should I see a doctor about sun rash?

Dr. Mehmet Oz, MD
Cardiology (Cardiovascular Disease)

You should see a doctor if your sun rash seems especially severe. For instance, if it covers more areas of your body than just the neck, chest, arms or thighs, if it begins to blister painfully, or if you come down with a high fever along with the rash. Also talk to your doctor if you're on any medications that may have caused a photoallergic reaction.
