How soon after using oxygen will my condition improve?

If you are using supplemental oxygen either in the hospital or at home because of decreased blood oxygen levels, you should start to feel better soon after you begin using it. When you start receiving oxygen, your blood oxygen levels will go up, which helps symptoms such as irritability, shortness of breath and headaches. For hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the time it takes for your condition to improve can range from three sessions to 30 depending on what condition you are treating with the therapy.
