Which are more effective - Invisalign braces or ClearCorrect braces?

Gregory J. Jorgensen, DMD
Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics
Invisalign has a 13 year history in the industry. They have millions of cases under their belt and have learned a lot along the way. They are constantly researching improvements, making changes in their algorithms, and have a lot of money to continue to do so. ClearCorrect has only recenly come onto the scene. Their aligners are very similar to Invisalign and have the potential to perform the same way. Time will tell if they will be as effective or successful as Invisalign.
There have not been any published medical studies that compare the effectiveness of Invisalign braces and ClearCorrect braces. Both brands of removable braces use a series of vacuum-formed clear plastic trays, or aligners, that gradually move the teeth into the desired position.

ClearCorrect braces tend to be less expensive than Invisalign braces.
