How can I reduce complications after getting Invisalign braces?

You can reduce complications after getting Invisalign braces with proper oral care. Brush twice a day and floss daily to help prevent gum disease or tooth decay. Invisalign are clear aligner trays that are worn all day. Follow your treatment plan carefully and remove Invisalign before you eat, brush, and floss. Talk to your orthodontist about how to safely clean your Invisalign braces.

The most important thing you can do during your Invisalign treatment is to keep your aligners in your mouth if you are not eating or brushing. The Invisalign system is very predicatable if the aligners are worn as prescribed. If you suspect that the teeth are not "tracking" (staying close to the plastic as the teeth move), you need to call your orthodontist so he can help you solve the problem.
