Can I drink alcohol when I take Viagra?

Drinking alcohol when you take Viagra is not recommended. Alcohol may worsen some of the side effects of Viagra, such as headaches and skin flushing. For some men, alcohol can cause or worsen erectile dysfunction, counteracting the benefits of Viagra.

Before taking Viagra, tell your doctor all prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, herbal supplements, and recreational drugs you are taking.
