How can I ensure that my child's IEP is respected?

When children qualify for individual education plans (IEPs), they are given the opportunity to perform better in school. These programs are carefully monitored. Students with disabilities covered under an IEP are reevaluated at least every three years. The IEP itself is reviewed whenever a change in placement occurs. Typically, this occurs annually when students move up in grade levels.
