Can vision therapy help improve a child's poor handwriting?

Vision therapy means many different interventions offered to patients. For convergence insufficiency (difficulty keeping the eyes together for near activities), therapy has been shown to improve symptoms in older children and teenagers. Vision therapy's value for other ocular abnormalities remains to be proven. Unfortunately, I am unaware of any value of vision therapy to improve poor handwriting.
