What part of the body produces bile?

Bile, a digestive fluid, is produced in your liver. Your liver releases bile into your gallbladder, a small, pear-shaped organ located just below your liver in the upper right side of your abdomen. Your gallbladder concentrates and stores the bile. Then, when you consume a meal, your gallbladder releases just enough bile into your intestine to help digest your food, especially the fat in your food.
