There are several methods for treating chronic constipation. Bowel movements every day are important for health and well-being. Diet is one of methods used to get your bowels moving, some examples of foods that help are greens, apples, blueberries and okra. Drinking at least 1 liter of water a day is very important, the body will take water from the colon if there is not enough water in your body. Yoga is another way to reduce constipation, there are many postures that can help stimulate your colon and intestines. Reducing stress also helps, and eating after you have a bowel movement is also key.
