How should I take Hydrocodone/APAP?

You should take hydrocodone/APAP (APAP is an abreviation for acetaminophen) exactly as directed by your doctor. Typically, this will be one or two doses every four to six hours. Always take Hydrocodone/APAP with food to minimize digestive distress. Never abruptly stop taking Hydrocodone/APAP, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms. Never take more than four grams of the acetaminophen component in a day.
